Each therapist at Center for Psychological Services is a trained professional with an extensive and diverse background in psychological services. Each of us is committed to providing you with high-quality, compassionate therapy, while ensuring your privacy and confidentiality.
All therapists practice as individual entities and sole proprietors. Each of our providers has unique specialties, so call us today at (320) 255-0343 to find out who works best for you. For new clients, wait times for an intake appointment may vary. If we are unable to schedule an intake appointment when you contact us, you can be placed on a wait list to receive a call when space opens up in your requested provider's schedule.
Elizabeth A. Buhl
PsyD, LP
Population Served: Elizabeth works with adolescents ages 16 or older and with adults for individual therapy services.
Experience: She has experience working in community mental health centers, college and university counseling centers, and in outpatient therapy.
Special Interests: Elizabeth has special interests including anxiety, depression, stress management, women's health issues, relationship issues, career concerns, adjustment/life transitions, parenting concerns, identity issues, and help coping with grief and loss.
License, Education, and Certifications: Elizabeth received her Bachelor's Degree in English from the College of Saint Benedict and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology - Chicago Campus.

Amber Morrighan
MA, LMFT
Population Served: Amber provides individual therapy for adults and adolescents, ages 12 and older.
Experience: Amber has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including residential treatment and outpatient. This includes working with depression, anxiety, chronic pain and medical conditions, life transitions, and trauma and abuse.
Special Interests: Amber has a special interest assisting the healing process for teens, adults, and families who have experienced disturbing or traumatic events. She enjoys working with complex trauma including dissociative disorder as well as all the aspects of impacts from foster care and adoption. She is passionate about helping individuals and families heal from trauma and learn to develop healthy attachments to others in their lives. Amber is open and believes deeply in bringing a non-judgmental openness to the clients she serves. She also enjoys working with couples in achieving satisfying marriages or relationships.
License, Education, and Certifications: Amber is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's Degree in Child Clinical Psychology and a Certificate in both Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Permanency Adoption Competency. Amber is Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused CBT. She is rostered with the State of MN in Child Parent Psychotherapy.
Lisa R. Jensen
MSW, LICSW
Population Served: Lisa provides individual therapy for adults ages 18 and older.
Experience: She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, work and career-related concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and men's & women's issues.
Special Interests: Lisa's special interests include the treatment of trauma, working with military members, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders and medical professionals.
License, Education, and Certifications: Lisa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas. She is a Master ART Practitioner (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and certified in Brainspotting.
Julie L. Kieke
MA, LMFT
Population Served: Julie provides individual therapy for adults, ages 18 and up.
Experience: She has experience working with depression, anxiety, attention and behavior issues, parenting and relationship issues, family change and trauma since 2002. She also has worked on body image, self esteem, and issues related to obesity.
License, Education, and Certifications: Julie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Minnesota School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University-Twin Cities. Julie has training in Evidence-Based Practices, Trauma Focused CBT and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Gwen Pedersen
MS, LMFT
Population Served: Gwen works with adults ages 18 and older for individual therapy services.
Experience: Gwen has experience working with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, addiction, allergy and food sensitivities, chronic health issues, women’s health issues, life adjustments, business/career issues, and more in a variety of settings that include community mental health as well as providing outpatient therapy services through a group private practice clinic.
License, Education, and Certifications: Gwen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters of Science in 1999 for Community Counseling Psychology through St. Cloud State University. She is an IFS Level 1 trained therapist.
Special Interests: Gwen enjoys treating clients through Parts Work/Internal Family System framework, shame resilience, and using holistic approaches to therapy.


Melinda Terhaar

Population Served: Melinda works with adults ages 18 and up.
Experience: Melinda has been working in the mental health field since 2010 and has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, dissociation, attachment concerns, relationship struggles, self esteem, and stress management.
Special interest: Melinda's special interests include the treatment of trauma, dissociation, and early childhood traumatic experiences.
License, Education and Certifications: Melinda is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master's of Social Work Degree from Saint Cloud State University. Melinda is certified and rostered with the State of Minnesota in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and trained in Brainspotting.

Janell Wesenberg

Population Served: Janell provides individual therapy for adults and adolescents, ages 18 and older.
Experience: Janell has over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, including inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient and home-based therapy. This includes working with depression, anxiety, chronic pain and medical conditions, life transitions, and trauma and abuse.
Special Interests: Janell has a special interest in using Accelerated Resolution Therapy, an evidenced-based eye-movement therapy, to help clients heal from both acute (recent) trauma and chronic or complex childhood trauma. She enjoys incorporating mindfulness, meditation and yoga into therapy sessions.
License, Education and Certifications: Janell is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. She is Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
